Dears friends,
Because we have received so many requests of information for the World Cup, we take the opportunity of the publication of our newsletter this month of August to give you some information about the V WORLD ULTREYA, that we know will take place in Fatima, Portugal, in the month of May 2017.

In respect to the lodging or accommodation, and because we hope that many cursillistas from around the world will come to share with us that great worldwide moment, and also by our logistics issues, the OMCC won't be making lodging or accommodation for anyone. We ask forgiveness for this, and we know that you will understand. But still, in an attempt to give the best collaboration possible, attached in the newsletter, at the end of this document, you will find a list of local lodging in the region of Fatima, so you can make your contacts and mark whatever is best for you.

In respect to the registration, or credential, for your participation in the activities, we would like to inform that, also by issues of logistics, all of the inscriptions for the participation should be made through the Diocesan or National Secretariats of each country.

They should still indicate the name of a responsible person by group for faster and easier distributions of their credentials on the premises of Fatima.
The next step will be to make the total payment of credentials, through a deposit in a bank transfer to the account of the OMCC (which we indicate and highlight at the end of this text), mentioning imperatively the code which you have been supplied in the contact with our secretariat, which will identify the country and the group. In accordance with the published OMCC Bulletin of July of 2016, where you can confer all of the Ultreya program, the inscriptions should be made until the 31st of January of the 2017 through the mail: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and the payment of the credentials, that will allow you to participate in the activities, should also be made until the same day, the 31st of January, 2017. The cost of the participation for the afternoon May 4 it’s free. For the all day May 5 and May 6 morning is 5 euros, and the cost of the credential for the Ultreya, May 6 afternoon, is 10 euros.

We also inform you that the V World Ultreya does not coincide with the commemorations of the centenary of the apparitions of the Virgin of Fatima, which will take place the following week.

In the OMCC monthly newsletter for the month of August of 2016 (it can seen in the web in www.orgmcc.org/es/ ), and at the end of this document, a list of hotels and retirement homes is available, where you can mark your accommodation in Fátima, as well as eating places, according to whatever is best for everyone of you.
Each one or each group should also, together with your travel agent, or as you may consider it best; handle the transportation from the airport to the premises of Fatima. For those who wish, can also see the possibility of making their reservations through a company that makes transportation to Fatima through the web in www.rede-expressos.pt/ .

Amigos e Amigas Cursilhistas, por termos recebido alguns pedidos de esclarecimentos, aproveitamos a publicação do nosso boletim deste mês para darmos algumas informações sobre a V ULTREIA MUNDIAL, que como todos sabemos decorrerá em Fátima, Portugal, no próximo ano de 2017, no mês de maio.

Em relação à hospedagem, e porque esperamos que muitos Cursilhistas de todo o mundo possam partilhar e conviver connosco este evento, e também por questões logísticas, o OMCC não irá fazer marcações de hospedagem para ninguém. Contudo, na tentativa de podermos dar a melhor colaboração possível, anexamos neste boletim uma lista de locais de hospedagem na zona de Fátima, para que possam fazer contactos no sentido de marcarem a hospedagem e acertarem igualmente os pacotes que melhor lhes convierem.

No que diz respeito à inscrição/credencial para participação, informamos que, por questões logísticas, todas as inscrições devem ser feitas através dos Secretariados Diocesanos ou dos Secretariados Nacionais de cada país (o que for mais oportuno para cada caso). (conforme está descrito no boletim de julho de 2016 do OMCC) do número de pessoas que vão estar presentes, bem como o nome de cada uma delas, recebendo em resposta um código (que devem mencionar na transferência) e o valor que devem depositar. Devem ainda indicar o nome de um responsável por grupo para depois ser mais fácil a distribuição das respetivas credenciais no local. O passo seguinte será fazerem o respetivo pagamento total das credenciais, através de depósito na conta bancária do OMCC, (que indicamos e relembramos no final deste texto) mencionando o código fornecido, que identificará o país e o grupo. Ainda de acordo com o publicado no boletim de julho de 2016 do OMCC, onde também podem conferir todo o programa, as inscrições devem ser feitas até 31 de janeiro de 2017 através de This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. e o pagamento das credenciais também deve ser feito até dia 31 de janeiro de 2017. O custo das participações para a tarde de dia 4 é grátis. Para todo o dia 5 e para a manhã de dia 6 de maio tem um custo de 5€ (cinco euros) e a credencial para a Ultreia, dia 6 pela tarde, tem um custo de 10€ (dez euros).

In 2005, at the VI World Encounter, held in Brazil in the city of St. Paul, it was decided to rewrite the book Fundamental Ideas in a third version in order to harmonize and unify the CM around a set of basic and indisputable principles.

Two important dates to celebrate at MCC

1944 – 19 to 22 August – Cala Figuera de Santanyí –Mallorca – Spain. The first Cursillo was held, taking as a basis the text "study of environment" and using some texts of the "Cursillo for Advanced Pilgrims", with a duration of three and a half days, adjusting the contents with a different purpose: was intended mainly to the "far away". Eduardo Bonní served as "rector", being Spiritual Director the Reverend Father Juan Juliá. The rest of the team was composed by Jaime Riutor and José Ferragut, with the participation of fourteen young boys.

1949 – 7 to 10 January – Saint Honorat Monastery – Mallorca – Spain. Begins the numbering of Cursillos and was held the "Cursillo number 1", in which were used the definitive rollos and meditations schemes. The Spiritual Director was the Reverende Father Guilormo Payeras, the "rector" was Eduardo Bonnín and the rest of the team was Bartolomé Riutort, Andrés Rullán, Guillermo Estarellas and Guillermo Font. Mons. Juan Capó presented the two meditations of the retreat (on the first night) with a style so young and with so much theological content, which was incorporate on the method proposed by Eduardo Bonnín. That same year there were over twenty other Cursillos.

First OMCC meeting with the newly Executive Committee based in Portugal

The Executive Committee of Cursillos in Christianity (OMCC), based on Portugal since January 1st 2014, has its first meeting in September 12 and 13 in Fatima, with the International Leaders of the Movement.

Additionally to the portuguese representatives, the meeting will receive the delegation of South Korea, from the Asia Pacific Group; representatives from Spain, from the European Group; representatives from Argentina on behalf of Venezuela, who cannot attend the meeting, from the Latin American Group; and representatives from the United States and Santa Lucia, from the North America and Caribbean Group.

97th anniversary of Eduardo Bonnin Aguilo's birthday

Eduardo Bonnín Aguiló: Founder of Cursillos in Christianity

Eduardo was born in Mallorca, on May 4th, 1917. Today we celebrate the 97th anniversary of his birthday.

Eduardo, pray to God for all of us, cursillistas around the world, and for the OMCC and its labor, so that we can always be faithful to the Foundational Charism of the Cursillo Movement.

50 years of Cursillos in Miami

This past March, the Cursillistas of Miami have experienced moments of great emotion, great happiness, and, while reflecting upon the past 50 years of Cursillos memories, of a great desire to tell Christ that he can continue to count on us as we are surely continuing to count on His Grace.

On the afternoon of March 10th, more than a thousand Cursillistas gathered at St. Mary's Cathedral for the 50th anniversary mass of Cursillos in beautiful Miami. That afternoon, we truly felt God's love and love for one another in each embrace, in each word, and in each prayer that we shared. A true Communion!

Cardinal Rylko Praises Cursillo Movement

Calls for Holiness, Mission and Communion

More than 2,000 members of the Cursillo movement participated in a thanksgiving celebration of the 1,000th cursillo in Cordoba.

The ceremony was presided over by Cardinal Stanislaw Rylko, president of the Pontifical Council for the Laity. During the homily, Cardinal Rylko reviewed the history of the Cursillos of Christianity, describing it as a "long journey of abundant evangelical sowing."
